A career spanning over two decades, Tony has been an integral part of the Midlands dance scene and has had a number of career highlights including the title of ‘Midlands Mixing Champion’, a member of the ‘Massive Records’ team - winners of an ‘NME award for Independent Record Store’, and flagged by Lisa Lashes as ‘One to Watch’.
With his influences and skills weaving genres and techniques, from scratching to energy fuelled sets of the harder variety, Tony quickly gained a loyal following. Tony has played all across the Uk, Spain and the USA, and appeared on rosters alongside industry heavyweights such as Judge Jules, DJ Sneak, DJ Punk Rock, Andy Farley, Anne Savage, and Underworld.
Tony has taken his unique skillset from the harder side of dance and pushed into his new passion of Tech House. With previous studio experience with the likes of BK, Rob Tissera, and Jon Doe, Tony has been working tirelessly to produce a unique sound, clever, evolving, driving tech house, slight leans back to his harder days, but delivering a refreshing take on an ever-saturated genre.
2019 will see Tony Heron re-establishing himself as a favourite on the UK dance scene. With several bookings lined up, a release schedule imminent and several labels already taking a keen interest it is set to be a big year for Tony and his loyal group of followers.
